A screening of six short films by Yemeni filmmakers on the theme of ‘home’.
Screenings in London, Aden, Detroit, Amman and more locations TBC
Al Yamaniah and Yemen Art Base have teamed up to present ‘Al Dar: Short Films from Yemen’. Al Dar means ‘home’ in Arabic, and all the selected films engage with this theme.
The main aims are:
- To celebrate young filmmakers of Yemeni heritage
- Increase exposure to Yemeni-made films
- To showcase their work through a series of film screenings both in and out of Yemen
